The refurbishment of Hungary’s most popular tourist trail, the National Blue Trail, will be completed by the end of September, a representative of the Hungarian Nature Friends Association said. The 2.7 billion forint (EUR 8.7m) upgrade involved the clearing of paths, repainting trail signs and building lookouts, bridges, rest areas and guest houses, Gabriella Széki said.

Hungarian police have released footage of a foreign driver accelerating past 330kph (205mph) in his Lamborghini Huracan on Hungary’s M7 motorway last September.
