Boris Grebenscsikov @ BG+, Akvárium Club Budapest, 25 March
Boris Grebenscsikov and his band, BG+, are coming to Budapest with a new program: on March 25th, at the stage of Akvárium Klub, songs from their latest album "Bogrukinog" (Богрукиног) and the best Aquarium songs will be performed.

Boris formed the BG+ formation on the 50th anniversary of the Aquarium band, when the original band had to suspend performances due to the war in Ukraine. In the current lineup, alongside Boris, there are Konstantin Tumanov on keyboards, Alexander Titov on bass guitar, Liam Bradley and Gleb Grebenscsikov on percussion, Brian Finnegan on flute, and Andrei Shurotdinov on violin.

The band has been giving concerts since spring 2022, and they have already visited Budapest once.

The new, four-song mini-album arrived without prior announcement, and after a long silence, these are Grebenscsikov's first fresh compositions: he stated that he was unable to create for a long time after the outbreak of the war.

Immediately after the outbreak, the musician condemned the aggression, and the new album is one of the strongest anti-war statements of recent times: the songs are about modern Russia and the unleashed war. Alongside these, they will of course also perform the old hits.
Place: Akvárium Klub Budapest
Address: 1051 Budapest, Erzsébet tér 12.
