Warning: Patients Could Face Police Charges as Doctors Caught Taking Bribes

Criminal proceedings have been launched against two head doctors in a hospital in Szabolcs county for accepting gratitude money, it was announced on website police.hu.
Some patients may also face charges in the case.
The doctors, 71 and 46 years of age, were caught on Monday in their hospital consulting room in an unnamed town.
The older doctor allegedly took Ft 10,000 or Ft 20,000 cash from his patients 18 times and his younger colleague on eight occasions.
Police said more cases could be investigated.
The younger doctor was taken into custody, but his older colleague could not be detained for health reasons and can defend himself whilst at large.
