Road accidents were many and trains were delayed, though no flight cancellations were reported from Budapest’s international Liszt Ferenc airport. Runways at the airport are being continually cleared of snow and only minor departure delays are expected due to time taken to defrost aircraft, Budapest Airport spokesman Mihály Hardy said.
