There’s the quiet golfer clap that bystanders use so as not to disturb the golfers; the string player clap that musicians make when tapping their bows on the music stands; the airline clap made by grateful passengers when the airplane lands. There’s a teacher clap, too.

I'm 37 and was brought up in Glasgow, Scotland where after finishing school I made my way into deepest darkest Central Europe as an 18 year-old to teach English in Transylvania for a year. One university degree in translation and interpreting later (back in Edinburgh) I came out to Budapest to be with my fiancée. That was some 15 years ago now.

This year we invite “National Teams”, i.e. teams consisting of two players from the same country. All countries could be represented by more than one “National Team”. So, either persons register as a “National Team” or one person registers on an individual basis allowing us to form new teams. The tournament is open to all amateur golfers.
