100 Year Old Forest Railway In Szilvásvárad, Hungary

Close to 9 km long, connecting Szilvásvárad and Szalajka valley, the country's busiest forest train celebrated its 100th anniversary this year.

There are annually more than 200.000 passengers these days. Originally they started building it on Wessely Károly's land in order to transport wood.  Photos by Tuba Zoltán for our partner at this time Origo.hu
