Parallel Foundation launches a new dance series in April 2012. The organisers invite Hungarian choreographers to a one-day journey into the world of improvisation, where everything is happening by a strict scenario.

"Our last theatre program at the MERLiN: International Dance Day was introduced in 1982 by the International Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute, a UNESCO partner NGO. The date was suggested to also commemorate the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810), the creator of modern ballet.

"Due to the flood not merely the people, but even dogs have been left without a lid. The fate of many thousands of animals turned tragic when the water flooded the houses and the shelters admitting abandoned animals. Families that were placed at temporary homes did not have the possibility to take their faithful dogs to their new accomodations.
